What would be the best way to go about looking to live temporarily in another country? I want to go visit and live in Venezuela for about 3 months so I can learn the language and also the culture as well as have a great life experience!!! Are there any particular sites or programs that may offer this? If possible even to take a semester there would be great!! Any information would be much appreciated! :D Other - Latin America - 2 Answers Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions : 1 : You should consider Uruguay instead. The people are nicer and it's cheaper than Venezuela. Try 4D Content English as a contact for your Spanish language requirements. They're good and in Google. 2 : A lot of programs will charge you, some are worth it some are not. I would suggest doing a TEFL certificate program. The good ones will charge you a fee that includes your housing and the certificate. once you have your TEFL certificate getting work abroad is much easier. Also, finding housing can be stressful. I moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina on my own and found my own housing, though. I used craigslist but found an agency on there to go through. Do not go through a free agent because you can get ripped off really easily, find a reputable agency that speaks English and they will help you reserve something. Once there you can find an English teaching institute and find a job. Feel free to contact me via Travelated if you need any other help, I did my move all on my own so I can definitely answer a lot of questions if you need help!
