I don't understand what is an official copy of all university-level transcripts?
I live in venezuela and i want to study in the US, one of the requirements of the universities is an official copy of all university-level transcripts, and i'm not sure what they mean by that, is only my grades or something else?

An official transcript has all your grades and the university stamp or seal on it. An official transcript is something that the university sends out without the student touching it at all.

It means they want your grades from any other institutions (other colleges and/or your high school) sent directly from those institutions. It means you cannot just make a Xerox copy of your paperwork and send it. The information has to come directly from the places that have those records.

you need to get a copy of transcripts, which is a print out of all of your grades or evaluations that you have received throughout school. most universities in the usa will ask for your high school as well as any college education records you may have. to have it be official a counselor from your school would have to sign it or mark it as an official copy so that the university that you send it to will recognize it as legitimate. need more help? ask your teachers at school or ask the university that you are interested in to contact your school administrator. im sure they could figure this problem out for you. good luck and enjoy the United States. Go to or write to the registrar at your university, the office that issues your grades. They should be familiar with this requirement. The most important feature usually is a raised seal placed by the university, although some schools may print official transcripts on a special paper that cannot be copied. You will almost certainly have to pay a small fee to the university to have them print an official copy of the transcript. The main thing is that the school you're applying to DOESN'T want a photocopy, an e-mail, or a fax.
