In Brazil you could live for 4 days including a hostel and meals. Maybe some money to buy alcohol too. EDIT: Cisne you dont need to be in a collective room to live in Brazil with $100. Actually it depends what part of Brazil you go to, if you go to Salvador you can get a hostel for $15 dollars per day including breakfast.

I agree that you get to live in Brazil for 4 days with 100 dollars, however you will have to accommodate in a housing in collective room. If you go for a camping and makes the food there, you can be for one week with 100 dollars.

Boliva is the cheapest - hotel room 2-3 usd. street meal 50 cents so maybe 100 usd will give you 20-30 days (just to keep you alive) depending on what you find. Next cheapest is nicaragua, then venezuela I think. Mexico or Argentina are next cheapest, Brazil or Chile are the most expensive countries in South America
