I'm going to Venezuela to study, so I need information, please?
I am from an Europian country and I am going to study (well, not actually study, to learn about culture) in Venezuela and one of my friends in Twitter who was born in there but moved told that Venezuela is really bad to live, it is a disgusting place blah blah... I'll live there only for one year and I really wonder, if there is something that I have to know about Venezuela before I go there..

That friend of yours is an unpatriotic person, those kind of despictable people that we dont really need and we dont want in our country, is better for them to stay away really far from Venezuela, ignorant people who never knew the trully preciousness of this land and this people, our problems arent alien from any other country problems, in fact in Venezuela there is a higher standar of living than much of the other latinamerican countries, yes we do have social and political issues, but we are not alone in this, and this is not an obstaccle for you to come, if you want to come to Venezuela you need to travel through the cities, the shores, the mountains and the jungle.

hello! What European country are you from? Greece? Germany? Norway? I'm fascinated with Europe and I am excited for the Eurovision song contest. My mom is from Venezuela and to be honest things are much worse than years ago. I guess this is a worldwide thing which is occurring in America as well. Venezuela is of course a beautiful country. You just have to be careful in what part of the country you go to. Good luck with your future!

Hey .. I think before you come you have to know that Venezuela is a beautiful country, not only because of its places but also because of its people. But the recent political problems have made it not safe to live in, you have to be really careful when you go out and try not to be out to late at night. There are so many things to try like some of the best foods (like arepas, cachapas, tequeños and empanadas) and some beautiful places (like Los Roques, Margarita, the gran sabana, the peninsula of paria, the tepuys, morrocoy, la tortuga, playa medina, the teleferico of Merida just to name a few). I don't know in what city you plan to live in, but Caracas is really chaotic when it comes to insecurity and traffic, but then not only Caracas is insecure but many other places in Venezuela. Hope this helps.
